DHS publicly emphasized the severity of his past crimes, underscoring the challenges law enforcement faces in apprehending individuals with dangerous criminal backgrounds.
The crackdown also targets members of violent gangs, including more than 100 individuals affiliated with the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, who were subject to arrest and detention efforts in Aurora, Colorado.
