DOGE Volunteer Reveals Massive Social Security Fraud, Credits Trump for Crackdown

DOGE Volunteer Uncovers “Jaw Dropping” Social Security Fraud, Credits Trump for Major Crackdown

In a shocking new interview, Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) volunteer Antonio Gracias revealed staggering levels of fraud plaguing the Social Security system and praised former President Donald Trump for taking bold action to combat the abuse.

Appearing on Fox & Friends with Steve Doocy, Gracias described the scale of fraud as “jaw dropping,” stating that the effort to secure Social Security from exploitation has already saved taxpayers billions. According to Gracias, much of that success stems directly from Trump’s intervention and leadership.

“None of this would have happened without President Trump,” Gracias said during the Wednesday, April 2 appearance.

He went on to credit Trump with issuing an unprecedented executive order that allowed government agencies to share key information across databases. That move, Gracias explained, enabled DOGE to uncover fraudulent activity and prevent further abuse of benefits programs.

“President Trump had the courage to allow us to access various databases… to identify individuals throughout the system—benefits, voting, you name it,” he added.

Gracias detailed how approximately five million undocumented immigrants had entered the U.S., were granted parole or admission, and obtained Social Security numbers through automated systems. These numbers gave them access to benefits—and, in some cases, to voter rolls.

“We tracked this and found that they were enrolled in benefit programs,” Gracias said. “Out of curiosity, we then examined the voter rolls… thousands were registered to vote, and many had indeed cast ballots.”

According to Gracias, these findings weren’t limited to theoretical abuse—they’re already producing real savings. DOGE’s audits and fraud-tracking efforts have exposed over $10 billion in Social Security-related fraud alone.

“You saw the fraud related to the phone lines, which amounted to about $1.5 billion. I would estimate that with Social Security, we are already exceeding $10 billion,” he noted.

While some of DOGE’s efforts involve reducing government waste in smaller programs and contracts, Gracias emphasized that the biggest savings are coming from cracking down on fraud within large entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicaid.

Gracias believes this is only the beginning. With broader data access, inter-agency cooperation, and political will, the U.S. could uncover and eliminate trillions in fraud over the coming years.

The volunteer praised Trump’s leadership as a key driver behind the success, citing his willingness to make bold executive decisions despite political backlash.

“It truly required a significant amount of courage,” Gracias said, referring to Trump’s decision to greenlight aggressive fraud detection measures.

DOGE’s work is continuing, but Gracias made it clear that without Trump’s executive action and support, their ability to uncover this level of abuse would have been nearly impossible.
