On July 4th, ten individuals launched a military-style ambush on ICE officers and police in Alvarado, Texas. They used rifles and fireworks to attack the Prairieland Detention Center, injuring a local officer. The suspects have since been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy. A separate attack occurred at a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas on the same day. According to DHS data, assaults on ICE agents have increased by 500% over the past year.
These developments set the stage for Miller’s televised remarks. He argued that far-left rhetoric is not only irresponsible but also dangerous. “There is an insurrectionist movement inside the Democratic Party,” Miller claimed, “that is inspiring domestic terrorism against ICE.”
Miller Targets Democratic Leadership
Miller specifically pointed to city officials who oppose federal immigration enforcement. He referenced statements by the Mayor of Los Angeles, who has previously resisted ICE operations in the city. “You cannot nullify federal law,” Miller said. “It’s the supreme law of the land. We are one nation.”
He accused Democrats of intentionally creating an atmosphere of hostility toward law enforcement, particularly those enforcing immigration law. Miller asserted that ICE agents are being doxxed, harassed, and threatened due to this political climate.

Miller framed the issue as part of a larger agenda. He claimed that mass illegal immigration is being used to reshape the nation’s demographics and weaken its foundations. “They want to collapse the middle class,” he said. “In doing so, they believe they can rebuild society in their image.”
He went further by criticizing the Democratic push to allow migrants from countries like Somalia and Haiti to enter the U.S. in large numbers. Miller argued that this level of immigration prevents effective assimilation and integration into American society.

Miller didn’t just focus on the agents under fire. He tied mass illegal immigration to everyday issues affecting Americans—ranging from hospital overcrowding to classroom capacity and crime rates. “Everything from traffic to emergency room wait times is being worsened by this policy,” he added.
He closed his remarks by praising ICE agents and defending Trump’s immigration agenda. “ICE officers are heroes. They need our support now more than ever,” he said. Jesse Watters responded, “It’s straight up treason, and we shouldn’t be afraid to say it.”
