Washington, D.C. — Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino made a bombshell announcement this weekend: more than 700 individuals have been arrested across the country in connection with ongoing anti-ICE riots that have rocked liberal cities for weeks.
In a bold update posted to X (formerly Twitter), Bongino stated, “We warned those violently acting out in the recent riots that we would not tolerate it, and we would not forget. Over 700 arrests have been made.”
The arrests, made in partnership with state and federal law enforcement, primarily targeted organized groups responsible for violence, property destruction, and direct attacks on police officers. “We are not done,” Bongino warned. “We are in the process of identifying and moving in on those who threw rocks at law enforcement officers and damaged property.”
This marks one of the most aggressive federal crackdowns on left-wing rioting since the George Floyd unrest of 2020.
But that’s just the start.
Bongino also revealed the results of two major FBI operations aimed at protecting children. Operation Restoring Justice and Operation Soteria Shield together resulted in nearly 450 child predators arrested and over 220 children rescued. “If you’re preying on children, we are coming for you,” Bongino wrote.

The Bureau is also relocating its headquarters, reorganizing leadership, and deploying more agents back into the field, according to Bongino.
“This is what real reform looks like,” one senior law enforcement analyst told us. “Not pandering, not politics—results.”
Bongino closed his statement with a promise: “We are rolling out a summer crime crackdown as the murder rate drops to a historic low. We will not let up.”
