FBI Recovers Fauci-Era Devices in Ongoing COVID-19 Records Investigation

The FBI has reportedly recovered communication devices once used by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former White House medical advisor, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a recent interview on The Joe Rogan Experience, former Trump official and current FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that multiple active investigations involving Fauci are underway across three separate FBI field offices.

The probes are focused on potential concealment of federal records, efforts to obscure the origins of COVID-19, and other pandemic-era decisions made by top public health officials.

“We just had a great breakthrough this week on Fauci,” Patel said during the interview.
“They had always been looking for Fauci’s original phones — the ones he used during the first Trump administration — and nobody had found them until two days ago.”

Patel credited long-standing efforts by Republican lawmakers like Senator Rand Paul for helping move the investigation forward. He also urged the public not to jump to conclusions about the contents of the devices just yet.

“Maybe it’s deleted, maybe it’s not — but at least we found it. And now we can say: yes, we’ve been looking,” he said.
“It’s a matter of public interest to find out whether misleading information was intentionally spread.”

The ongoing investigation includes scrutiny of emails and documents that some allege were deliberately concealed or manipulated to avoid Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) detection. This includes the use of strategic misspellings and alleged deletions tied to communications with the Wuhan Institute of Virology and EcoHealth Alliance.

Fauci has previously denied any wrongdoing during congressional testimony, including accusations that the NIH funded gain-of-function research abroad. However, newly surfaced whistleblower claims and internal emails have cast doubt on those assurances.

While no charges have been filed as of now, the discovery of Fauci’s devices could mark a significant turning point in investigations into how pandemic decisions were made — and communicated — at the highest levels of the U.S. government.

The FBI is expected to continue working in coordination with congressional oversight bodies to determine whether any laws were broken or protocols violated.
