He continued, “It came out of the blue, but clearly she’s got Trump on the brain. Let’s not forget—I won the Catholic vote, and won it big!”
Then, taking a shot at Disney CEO Bob Iger, he wrote: “Time for Iger to fix the mess on his failing shows. Too many losers and haters. Time for a reset. MAGA all the way!!!”
Things got stranger still when, later that same day, Trump made another odd statement—this time suggesting he had coined a word that’s been in the English language for centuries.
While speaking at a press briefing about a new executive order aimed at reducing prescription drug prices, Trump told reporters: “The rest of the world is going to start paying more, and we’ll be paying less. America has fewer people than the world, obviously.”
He added, “What we’re doing is something I like to call ‘equalizing.’ It’s a term I just thought of. Probably the perfect word. We’re going to equalize things. Everyone will pay the same. No more overpaying for Americans.”

Despite the claim, the word “equalize” is far from new. According to Merriam-Webster, it dates back to the year 1599.
The internet responded quickly and mockingly. One commenter noted, “There was literally a show in the ‘80s called The Equalizer. Did he also invent that back in 1983?”
Another user wrote, “If he just came up with it, why does everyone already know what it means?”
A third joked, “Just made up a new word: horses**t. Never been used before. Just invented it right now!”
These latest statements add to a long list of eyebrow-raising moments that continue to keep Trump in the headlines—often for reasons that leave many stunned or simply confused.
